I'm slowly getting pics up this year! Here at last, are pics from the One World Delivery to Anacortes on Martyn's Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 Catamaran. As usual, favorite crew Jim helped, and while no serious adventures this time, it was one of the colder trips we've ever done! Jim and I met up in Anacortes, left my car and he drove us down to Shelter Bay. I've always wanted a couple pics from the bridge - hard to do while driving. Ally sent us off with hot chocolate, and we motored up through the Swinomish Channel, North past La Conner. The railroad swing bridge is just North of Highway 20. Once past the oil refinery, in Padilla Bay, the temperature really dropped, maybe from the Fraiser River outflow. The last leg of the trip to Cape Sante Marina seemed longer with the cold. When we got to the West Yachts slip, the wind was calm, and Russ and Leslie were waiting. While Jim and Martyn cleaned up and put a tarp over the helm station, I raced around for pics for the Yacht World listing. See that listing HERE.
Thanks all!
