Forest and Jessica came up from Olympia for their survey of the Fountain Pajot Mahe 36 and seem to have brought just the right weather. Finally a sunny day, with just enough wind to sail. We raised the mainsail a couple times and snagged a halyard on a mast step each time. I think the track needs to be cleaned and lubed. We sorted out the reefing lines and got the jib out. Note: not all surveyors are as helpful as Garret! Because of the 19.4" beam on this catamaran, we needed to go to La Conner for the haul-out. We made it over in 2.5 hours, but bucking the current it took a bit longer to get back to Anacortes. As usual I try to get pics of crew - what a great couple, boat details, and scenery from mountains and birds to boats along the way. Enjoy. . .
