Gary and Bill from Rubicon came up from San Francisco for the Pacific Seacraft 40 survey with Aaron Bandstra. Aaron is through and always finds interesting details; "Look they put a drip line in the rub rail." He sorted out the fancy SS folding ladder and pointed out the previous windvane mounts. Russ has me help out with the boat work and sailing. We started out with a dry mild day without wind and it just got better. We went over to Fidalgo Marina for the haul-out, and found a big NW45 in the slings. We dropped off the mechanic and as the wind filled in we had a fine little sail between Guemas and Fidalgo Islands. As usual, I look for interesting details and other boats I recognize, like the CMS 41, ex San Dollar and Ron's Nauticat 43, sv Tango. We all worked well together - thanks all!
