Here's pics from our early meet-up at Ivars on Northlake and our presentation by Rachel Wold on NANOOS the Northwest Association of Networked Ocean Observing Systems. A small team at the UW and NOOA, in partnership with industry, state agencies, local governments, tribes, non government organizations, and educational institutions work to develop a visualization system to show and share marine data for scientists, fishermen and boaters. Rachel is an enthusiastic and devoted speaker for NANOOS and their NVS Apps.
