Traditionally the Coho Ho Ho Cruising Rally departs from Port Townsend the last week-end of August to head down the coast. Of course some folks are on their way already or still sorting out work or boat issues. I drove up early Saturday to see folks and boats for pictures, and met up with some folks at the "Cup"; Lynn & Charlotte on Xena, Theresa and Dennis on Tomten, Bob and Pam on Emerald Mistress and Bev and Doug on Hemisphere Dancer, who made it from the South Pacific. Monte was at the Cup too, but his boat, Fair Isle was out in Port Angeles waiting for parts. I tried to find all the Coho boats I could in Port Townsend, and just missed Tookish which left that morning and Confetti which was already headed down the WA coast. I found Lagertha-look at those details, Xena and crew, Tomten, and Bob mocking-up changes to Emerald Mistress, Jackie on Dragonfly, and Bev & Doug's new powerboat. I went back for better shots of Xena, and even drove up to the farmers market to give folks a ride back to the marina, but missed them. Later at the Pourhouse more folks showed up - John & Jonny on the other Island Packet, Kristian. Eli, Jackie and Bill on Dragonfly, and Leni and Kate crew on Zena. I left just before sunset to track down Kristian and tried for a burgee shot before leaving for the second ferry again. It's a long day but fun. As usual, I tried to get pics of all the Coho people and boats I could and I hope you enjoy these pics. Thanks all, Lee
